A Woman's Dignity

Every coin has two faces, everything has two sides. Look at both before you judge.. Where there is good there is bad, where there is night, there is a morning light.

Face 1

Some times I wish,
If I can let you inside of me
Give you a glimpse
Of what’s in my mind
Take you on tour
Around the complicated and twisted roads
Of anxiety and instability
Let you see with your own eyes
Zombies of hurt and pain
Roaming around my veins
Spreading a feeling of agony, misery and distress
All around my mind, heart and body cells

Sounds of confusion
Bang over my head
As I come to a conclusion
That came from a tiny thread
A message
A gift
A kiss
A hug
A tickle
And finally a word that can never mean less, than a woman wearing her shiny red dress, for a man she doesn’t have, but yet try hard to impress

What more should I wait for
To realize what’s going on

What more do you want me to see
Till I have the right to let my rage break free

It’s not about trust, faith and belief.
As you always say to me

It’s about fidelity
Respect
And a woman’s dignity

Whenever you loose yourself in the midst of time, fail to hold the tears from falling down and you feel the weakness creeping into your soul. Don’t fall, don’t give up. Remember, there is always another door that opens up. There is always tomorrow, there’s always hope. Remember to put on your happy face.

Face 2

As I go back in time
Remembering the years that swiftly passed by
All I can feel then is pride
For whom I was, and who I come to be.
A happy child
A wild teenager
And finally
A strong woman

As I stand across the mirror
Looking at that face staring back at me
All I can feel is pride
For the beauty I have both outside and in
Dark hair yet a while soul inside
Chocolate brown skin covering a red rose’s passion

As I see my pain and my fears
Falling down with this melancholy tears
All I can feel is pride
For the emotions I feel
The endless devotion
The continuous passion
That lies inside of me

See, I have realized, right there and then..
That no storms, no hurricane,
No heartbreak, no soul pain,
No man, no other woman,
No nothing,
Will ever break me,
Demolish me,
Damage me,
Change me,
Or bring me down

Cause honey,
I am a Woman
I am confident
I am proud
I am beautiful
I am smart
I am strong
I am tender
I am precious
I am a treasure that is so hard for you to find.
And honey, I will rise,
I will continue to shine
And no matter what,
No matter where,
Look at me, and you’ll always see me smile.

Recognize this honey,

Dreams

Hush now and be silent.
Listen to my words, my wishes and my thoughts.
Feel my emotions, my passion and my love.
This is what I want to do, the road I need to go through, to win myself back, to return to my own self, to be ME once again.



I want to run, barefoot on the white warm sands, feeling the sun sending its colorful rays, especially for me, to shine upon my face, to draw an innocent smile, and paint a happy face, that will last forever more.

I want to swim fully naked, and play with the waves of the ocean, feel the essence, and live the spirit, of the deep blue ocean, while I dance, play and swim, just like a beautiful mermaid that sings enchanting songs, that echoes all over the seven seas.


I want to dance under the rain, like they do in movies, not caring for the wondering eyes of passers by, not minding them calling me mad, crazy or wild.

I want to play hide and seek, between the green trees and bushes that grow in the sands of my beloved land, with mistreated little orphans, and homeless children living in the streets of my beloved land. I want to see them smile, I want to hear them giggle, purely from their hearts, I want to feel my soul entwine with the most innocent and pure souls.

I want to fly so high in the sky with the colorful birds, I want to touch the clouds, and feel it in the palm of my hands. Will it be soft like a flower? Or cold like snow? I wonder!

I want to lay down, on a cool meadow, late at night with only stars shining their light. See them glow, and shine so bright, like hope when things get so tight. I want to close my eyes and hear the heavens cry, for all the sorrows and pain in the world. I want to reach out my hand, and touch the stars in the sky, bring them down and spread them around, replace all the sadness, sorrows and pain, with hope, happiness and joy.

I want to keep a star for my self, hide it in my closet, to sneak a quick look at it, every time I miss you, every time I need you, every time I cant feel you, to fill me with hope, to remind me of me, and the beauty of being me..

My May List

1. Favourite actor: Leonardo Di caprio..


Although I used to HATE the guy, especially with all the girls going nuts for him for his role in Titanic ( I fell in love with Kate's Fiance in that movie, whats his name?) But honestly, after watching the two movies "Blood Diamond" , and " The Departed" I have to admit and confess, yes, I have fallen in love with the guy.. He had me weeping in both movies. He really did a great job in both.





















(not to mention his new look, he looks older now, like a real man! he looks so FINE!)


2. Favourite Movie: Stomp the Yard





I've seen many movies in May, especially after finally getting this mDSL service, which makes it easier to download movies.

But of all the good movies I've seen, if it’s in the laptop, or in the cinema, I fell in love with "Stomp the Yard" .

Maybe it doesn’t have this great moral within its story (although there are a few: The importance of following your dreams, and being who you are no matter what, standing up for your family/team etc..) and none of those million dollars actors, though Chris Brown, Colombus Short, Brian J. White,Laz Alonso, Ne yo and the hottie of all hotties.. Harry J. Lennix ( he is so FINE) are enough for me; but still that movie really impressed me. I watched it 2 times in the cinema and I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it at home. It’s the beats and the dance moves. Oh, I am CRAZY about those amazing dances and stepping they were doing! This movie is simple yet a MUST SEE!



3. Old Song: Stars by Simply red



This song was released in the early 90s, I was so young to really understand the complicated lyrics of the song, but I fell in love with the music and the song was stuck in my mind. A few days ago I remembered it. I couldn’t stop listening to it for a whole week, Over and over again.

Another song which I cant stop listening to these days is : Fire by Baby Face & Desree.

It’s not as old as Stars, though the original is, it was originally sung by Bruce Springsteen.

It’s a very good song and it’s my song for this week, I've listened to it more than 10 times just today!


4. Software: VerbAce

VerbAce (formally known as Qdic) is an Auto dictionary, translating from English to Arabic and Vice- Versa.. This little thing was so helpful for me in writing my stories and poems. I have it in my laptop, in my office desktop and I’ve downloaded to all my friends PCs.. Its very useful and very good.. I recommend it to all of you.
